Son of a notorious Jamaican drug kingpin Lester Coke, leader of the Shower Posse gang, Christopher had to take over the family business at only age 23 after his father was murdered. Coke’s privileged upbringing meant he went to school with children of the country’s social elite, before taking over the Posse gang. He became the leader of Kingston’s Tivoli Gardens, giving money to the poor, creating jobs and setting up community centers while also exporting of massive amounts of coke and marijuana to America building over a $30 billion enterprise.
He was arrest in 2010 by Jamaican police and extradited to the US where he was sentenced to 23 years in prison.
