6. She’s Always “Working”
A very easy way for her to cover up the “busy” excuse is to blame it on work. This passes the smell test, but you’ve gotta probe a little more carefully into it.
If she’s working so much, what’s the incentive? Did she get promoted? Is she covering for a sick or vacationing co-worker? Has there been layoffs that the staff has been cut short? Why does she need to work all these OT hours?
If she can’t give clear answers to the above, then you should be very worried. If she tries to give short answers, probe even more, she may be keeping the details short to avoid getting caught up in a lie. And if she starts reacting negatively to all the questions, at this point it should start to remove all doubt that somethings definitely up.
7. She Says Her Friend(s) Need(s) Her But Won’t Say Why Or For What Exactly
If she’s not saying she’s busy working, then it’s her friend(s). Then again, the details seem very vague or sketchy and if you push her, she acts very dismissive. Someone needs her support, and that has to keep her away from you. And she has to somehow be sworn to not provide any details about it to you. Hmmm…
This one can be one of the hardest to confirm, or find exactly what’s going on, cause even if you thought of doing something dumb like asking her friends what’s going on, they may just try to cover it up for her, or know the real reason why she’s been disappearing.
Your best bet here is just to look for other trails and do more research on your own.
