4. Marine Commando Force (MARCOS) – India
MARCOS, also known as “The Bearded Army” are a detachment of the Indian Navy. They excel in amphibious operations, counter-terrorism, and urban warfare. They are one of the world’s best at naval operations as their training is highly focused on water based operations. Their training includes being able to dive in the sea with over 80 pounds of gear and tread water for over 24 hours. The operators are known for all having beards as part of their distinct look, even spotting a fake one if they can’t grow one.
