3. Joint Force Commando – Italy Special Forces
Renowned for their versatility and clandestinity, the Joint Force Commando specializes in counter-terrorism, counterintelligence, hostage rescue and unconventional warfare. Although much of their whereabouts remains classified, this badass Italian unit played a critical role in dismantling the Red Brigades, an extremist group that terrorized the nation in the 1970s and 1980s.
