12. Scopolamine
Scopolamine is a popular drug that is common in Colombian gangs. It can cause suggestibility and amnesia. This means that the user may do whatever someone tells them to do. The drug can be used through topical, ophthalmic, intravenous and oral. It is used in preventing motion sickness. The scientists think that the drug can prevent communication between the vestibule nerves and the vomiting center of the brain. The Scopolamine can also work at the vomiting center directly. Scopolamine should be taken when the sickness had started so that it can be more effective. When taken with sedatives, tranquilizers and alcohol, it can lead to drowsiness.
